As we arrived at the entrance to the house everything seemed to have become frozen in time, just as we had felt with the village. No one came out to meet us. We waited cautiously, but eventually entered a large, beautifully decorated hall. We walked up the grand staircase to the front door, but no one was there. What a surprise it would be when we opened it! A mansion full of… life?
